Located in the southern constellation Sculptor, NGC 300 might initially appear to be a scaled-down version of the Triangulum Galaxy (M33). Similar to M33, NGC 300 is renowned for its active star-forming regions, containing numerous bright blue stars that often cluster into resolvable luminous star clusters.
This dataset had been sitting on my computer after being captured. While I performed some early processing back in October 2022, the project was left unfinished due to issues with deconvolution and was eventually forgotten on my hard drive—until now.
With modern galaxy processing techniques and AI-powered deconvolution tools (such as BlurXTerminator), I hope to breathe new life into this two-year-old dataset of NGC 300.
