C/2021 A1 (Leonard)

This shot of Comet Leonard was taken with a TOA 150 and a QHY 268c, 16 frames of 90sec in all. The background is relatively plain, with no notable galaxies, clusters or nebulae.

For processing I used the traditional comet alignment approach to produce both the comet integration and the star background. I had failed with this method on an earlier attempt, but with a few refinements it does work. I later used this image to record my comet processing course.
