M63 Sunflower Galaxy

This dataset, shared by 靜靜, was captured with a 12cm telescope — but with nearly 32 hours of total exposure under B1 skies, it accumulates M63's spiral detail and texture beautifully. Around the rim floats nebulosity beyond what the optics can resolve, and if you look closely you can even trace tidal tails extending from those outer wisps.

Thanks to the long accumulated exposure, the background is also sprinkled with countless tiny galaxies. Breathtaking.
