Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon)

Two weeks after the session, Comet Lemmon (C/2025 A6), which I photographed in the small hours of October 5 at Pinglin, New Taipei, is finally processed.

This was my first time out shooting the sky in quite a while — and both the camera and the telescope that night were borrowed, so things got a little frantic at the controls.

Luckily the weather and my luck both held. After plenty of adjustments and a few small mishaps, I came away with 48 minutes of comet data.

Watching that faint tail emerge on screen, I felt the same flutter as when I first looked up at the stars.
